In addition to life story books, there are many other possibilities for preserving your memories. |
|

An ethical will
is a tangible
document that
records your
values, beliefs,
and hopes for
the future.
This is a non-legal document, but it is an excellent way of preserving your personal statement to be passed on to those you love. |

A theme-based memoir or a special-occasion booklet is a smaller project and takes less time.
For example, consider documenting a wedding, a graduation, a pregnancy, or an adoption. |
|

A tribute to a specific person or event records a very special happening.
Consider having close family members or friends contribute their well-wishes to the recipient. I can help you organize this and tailor it to your needs. |
A simple family tree is a lovely addition to any life story book. I can give you templates to be filled in or you can create your own.

Pricing options reflect the many forms of collecting and presenting your stories. The variables include the length of the interviews, the time it takes for editing, organizing, and formatting, and the number of additional images that are scanned into the book.
PLEASE NOTE: All prices below are estimates only. Your book will be custom designed based on your individual situation. |
- Smaller histories or special-occasion books are based on taped interviews of one or two hours in length and 5 to 10 photos or other scanned images. These books are generally priced from $500 to $3000, and are usually less than 100 pages.
- A more thorough history might be based on three to ten hours of taped interviews and can include more photos. Extra editing time is required for these projects and they usually run 100 to 200 pages. These books can range in price from $4,000 to $15,000.
- For more detailed projects, including extensive research, major editing, and special formatting, please call to discuss your needs.
Printing, binding, and other book production costs are billed separately.
